Committees

The goal of the Advisory Council is to develop a comprehensive strategic plan to improve West Virginia’s integration of technology and education.  To complete this task, the members of the Advisory Council have identified six major areas upon which to focus their efforts:

  • Professional Development
  • Infrastructure/Hardware/Software
  • Economic Development
  • 21st Century Learning/Curriculum
  • Higher Education/Research
  • State Agency Support

The Advisory Council has also formed six corresponding committees to address each of these areas more directly.  Each committee periodically produces reports and updates intended to notify the other Council members, as well as the public, of its activities and progress.
